Frequently Asked Questions

What does WIP mean?

Work In Progress. Just like our body and mind, what happens at THE WIP, and the project itself.

How do I join?

If you're familiar with barbell and kettlebell training, and ready to jump in, feel free to click the join button and we'll see you soon!

If not, we encourage you to request a tour and a member of our team will provide a thorough overview of the space, breakdown of our programs, and answer any of your questions. Scheduled tours have the benefit of 3 days free on us!

How often should I attend class?

Most members attend 2-4 classes per week, which strikes a nice balance of frequency and intensity throughout our programming cycle. Progress can be made with as little as 1 class per week, though ideally members are consistently attending 2 (or more) classes per week (when possible) for best results. Finding a balance of both Hustle and Muscle will yield further benefits, however the program is designed that each day be a total body workout and beneficial regardless.

Is THE WIP for me?

The WIP strives to be an inclusive space for members of all backgrounds, ages, and fitness levels, who want to work hard. Y'all means all.

Is there Open Gym?

Yes! Subscription members have access to THE WIP for any of their training needs outside of class times: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 11:45am & 1:15pm - 4:15pm , Friday 8:30am - 11:45am & 1:15pm - 3pm, Saturday 11:45am - 3pm

Please complete open gym workouts at least 15min before class start time, as noted above

Can I bring my four-legged friend?

Yes! We have abundant shade in the front and back yards, where your buddy can hang on the grass and/or turf. With respect to the safety and flow of other members and pups themselves, ultimate placement each class is always at the discretion of your coach, based on the workout and equipment needs that day. Please refrain from hanging and working out with your pup inside, and/or using equipment to secure your friend outside.

How do I contact THE WIP?

Email hi@thewip.us, or call (512) 693-7122. Interested parties are always welcome to stop by, though please be considerate of classes in session and/or open gym. There is not always staff onsite

Hope to see you soon!

Why the Mule?

Mules have a lot of hustle and a lot of muscle!
